Sibenik is the oldest city on the coast of the Adriatic Sea, founded originally by Croatian kings. The Cathedral of St. James in Sibenik is the most significant architectural achievement of 15th and 16th century in Croatia. Due to its exceptional value, it was included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List. Krka is 7th national park in Croatia, known for its numerous lakes and waterfalls. It is famous for its many lakes and waterfalls. Jaruga hydroelectric Power Plant, under the Skradinski buk waterfall, is the second oldest hydropower plant in the World and the oldest one in Europe.
The Excursion requires walking over the diverse terrain and approximately 100+ steps (combined in Sibenik and in the NP). Walking at Krka National Park is at visitors’ risk, as no lifeguards are on duty. Options for departures from other towns with additional charge.
